Wine Advocate-Parker :
Yellow plum, celery seed, and caramelized parsnip and celery root scent the Zind-Humbrecht 2006 Gewurztraminer Clos Windsbuhl, which comes to the palate opulently rich and silken; with considerably sweetness reinforcing the caramelized side of its flavors and a suggestion of marzipan; but with a marine, saline mineral streak that adds interest and invigoration. Hints of coffee and cocoa powder also creep into the finish of this slightly bifurcated yet fascinating wine that should be worth following for 3-5 years.
