Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2015 Marsannay Clos du Roy, matured in 25% new oak, has a punchy, slightly rustic bouquet: brambly red berry fruit, undergrowth and a touch of strawberry jam. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin. Classic in style, this comes across as rather a reserved Marsannay and perhaps I would have expected more exuberance and more blue fruit considering the growing season. Still, it should give modest drinking pleasure over the next 4-5 years.
